Biography
We can say humbly and without ego ~~Welcome to diamondvoicediva! Singing and performing site of Diana. Diana has been singing since she was 12 years old. She is a consummate professional and has a diamond of a voice.
After being baptized at the Bethlehem Baptist Church located in the little town of Edmondson, Arkansas at the age of 12, she joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church Choir. Her first lead was a gospel song titled "It's Gonna Rain", and she hasn't looked back. Her voice is unique because of the training that she has received in the genres of classical, popular, gospel, and R&B. Her voice has a deep, earthy, quality to it and unique qualities from all others; and when she sings a song you know it has been song.
Her desire is not so much technical accuracy, while extremely important, but the ability to move people, to lift bowed down heads, and to bless the listener with a worthy performance is utmost.

For the past 20 years, I've refined my technique and musicianship while taking it upon myself to perfect the canon of musical literature that all of the masters before me have successfully confronted. The result of my labor is a string of successful performances, along with audience and critical acclaim.
My operatic and Italian training was with the Opera Memphis Chorus during the elaborate production of AIDA.
